Workspace Blinds supplied and installed over 1,700 blinds at Chandos House in Manchester, together with curtains and blinds throughout the development’s amenity spaces.
The project was delivered for Bowmer + Kirkland and iQ Student Accommodation, continuing Workspace Blinds’ long-standing work within the purpose-built student accommodation sector.
The requirement was to provide a robust and consistent window shading package across a large number of student rooms while also providing solutions appropriate to the development’s communal and amenity spaces.
Products needed to provide effective privacy and light control while being durable enough for a high-use student accommodation environment.
Delivering more than 1,700 blinds across a large development required accurate surveying, organised manufacture and careful coordination of deliveries and installation.
The amenity spaces had different aesthetic and functional requirements from the bedrooms, requiring curtains and blinds to be incorporated into the overall package.
